HOW PRE-ORDERING WORKS
Many of the items we carry are available for reservation (pre-orders) as they are future releases. During the limited reservation period set by manufacturers and distributors, these items benefit from a special price and the opportunity to secure your own copy.
Once the item is announced as arriving or available, we will contact the customer to arrange the balance and shipment according to the purchase method chosen at the time of pre-ordering.
RESERVATION OPTIONS
Pay in advance with 5% discount: full payment within 5 days of receiving the order confirmation, with an additional 5% discount. The shipping cost will be charged when the item is available for shipment.
30% deposit + balance: payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total within 5 days of the order confirmation, and the balance, including shipping costs, upon notice that the goods are arriving/ready. The deposit is non-refundable if, for any reason, the balance is not paid by the buyer.
Flexible instalment plan: the amount is split into monthly payments of the customer's choice, from the reservation date to the expected market release date; the number of instalments cannot go beyond the expected arrival-in-stock date. You can indicate the day of the month for payment, which will remain fixed. The order will be available for shipment on arrival in stock, after the last payment including shipping costs.
RELEASE TIMES AND IMAGES
During the pre-order period the manufacturer/distributor states an expected release period. This period is indicative and may change without notice, even by several months: for this reason we cannot be held responsible for any delays or early releases. Once released on the reference market, distribution times vary depending on location; typically the European market has longer lead times than the Asian and US markets.
Images of pre-order products are officially released by the manufacturer at the presentation stage and are to be considered representative: the final product may differ from the images shown. Manufacturer delays and any differences from what was presented at the pre-order stage are not accepted as grounds for cancelling the reservation.
BALANCE, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
The balance on pre-orders must be paid within 5 days of receiving notice of the item's arrival. If the balance is not paid within 5 days, the item will be relisted for sale and the deposit paid will be retained. If the customer does not wish to complete the purchase, a message stating their intentions is nonetheless appreciated.
If the manufacturer officially announces that the item will no longer be produced, or reduces quantities forcing us in turn to cancel some pre-orders (on a date-based criterion), we will return to the customer whatever was paid as balance, deposit or instalments.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal provided for by the Italian Consumer Code (arts. 52–59) also applies to pre-order items: you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw, under the conditions set out in the Terms of sale. Only personalised items or items made to the customer's specifications (e.g. custom work) are excluded from withdrawal. Before delivery, the cancellation and refund rules described above apply.
SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS
Pre-order products have an estimated shipping cost: the actual calculation can only be made once the real volume of the item has been verified. Every shipment is insured.
International customers will have to pay any import duties directly to the carrier before delivery.
